Planting seed for community gardens to grow🌱

Community gardens grow through volunteers digging in together to grow produce and community connections.

Community Gardens provide a valuable recreation activity that supports social connections, encourages sustainable living practices and contributes to overall health and wellbeing.

We want to better support community gardens in Bayside by improving our Policy that guides how we make decisions about establishing and managing community gardens.

We're proposing to streamline the application process and include community engagement on all proposed new garden sites.

We'd love to know what you think about our changes to the Community Garden Policy.

Consultation is open until 5 May 2023.
