Camden's festive season just got a little brighter, with Anglicare's Oran Park Retirement Village coming on board as the Platinum Sponsor for both the Camden Christmas Festival and Oran Park Christmas Concert in 2025.

The partnership means this year's celebrations will officially be known as the Camden Christmas Festival Supported by Anglicare and the Oran Park Christmas Concert Supported by Anglicare.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said Council was thrilled to welcome Anglicare's Oran Park Retirement Village as the major sponsor for two of the area's most anticipated community events.

"We're so grateful to Anglicare in helping make these magical events possible for families right across Camden," she said.

"I'm excited for everyone to enjoy our wonderful events. This is such a beautiful time of year."

Anglicare Seniors Communities' Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Melissa Wei, said the organisation was passionate about creating vibrant retirement communities.

"Residents love opportunities to connect with their neighbours and celebrate together. Sponsoring the [Christmas events] is a natural fit - it's a way for us to share in the joy of the season, support local families and businesses and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that makes Oran Park Retirement Village such a wonderful place to live," she said.

"For Anglicare, Christmas is a time to celebrate hope, generosity, and connection, and the hope that the birth of Jesus represents"

"We're proud [we] can play a small part in creating a festive season that brings joy to the whole

community. The [Council Christmas events] reflect exactly what we strive to offer residents every

day.

"We look forward to sharing in the wonder of the season with our neighbours and wish everyone a joyful and hope-filled Christmas."
