Playford Alive Town Park in Munno Para is now open following an extensive makeover, with City of Playford adding inclusive equipment and exciting music play elements to the popular space.
Located next to the Stretton Centre, the Town Park has always been a favourite for local families. Among the latest additions are interactive musical instruments, including bongo drums and chimes, providing sensory-rich experiences for children.
Another feature is the newly installed all-abilities carousel, ensuring that everyone can participate in play activities.
These upgrades are part of the City of Playford's broader initiative to enhance public spaces across the region, providing high-quality, accessible open spaces for residents.
Mayor Glenn Docherty said it was amazing to see these new features added to such a beloved and well-used community space.
These upgrades are all about making our parks even better places for people to connect, relax and enjoy. Council is committed to investing in spaces that matter to the community and I am sure people will enjoy the improvements here in Munno Para.
