PolAir and PD Bomber track vehicle in Northern suburbs

Five people have been arrested after PolAir tracked a car in the northern suburbs today.

About 2.30pm today (Thursday 27 April) a silver Holden Commodore was spotted acting suspiciously in Craigmore. The car was suspected to have been linked to an incident involving a stolen car at Modbury on Wednesday 26 April.

PolAir was in the area and tracked the Commodore as travelled north through Munno Para, Evanston then south along Coventry Road toward Kudla.

Near the intersection with Athol Road the car lost control and crashed. The five occupants of the vehicle ran west on Athol Road, then north into scrub.

Patrols were quickly on scene and arrested two suspects quickly. Then after a short search by PD Bomber three other people were located. They are expected to be charged with a number of traffic offences.
