Police appeal - Burglary, Inala

Police are seeking public assistance following a home burglary in Inala on July 31.

Around 6.20pm two men entered a home on Centaurus Street before a physical altercation took place with a 32-year-old male resident.

During the altercation a firearm was discharged, with the resident sustaining minor shrapnel wounds to his leg.

The adult offenders have then left the scene, fleeing in a black SUV that was parked at the end of the driveway.

It is believed the incident may be a case of mistaken identity.

Police investigations, which have included speaking to local residents, are ongoing, and anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who recognises the vehicle in the below CCTV to come forward.
