Police appeal for information after Sunbury drive-by shootings

Fawkner Embona Taskforce detectives are appealing for information after two drive-by shootings in Sunbury over the weekend.

It is understood a vehicle, believed to be a white Ford Courier, was driving by a house on Riddell Road before a loud gunshot was heard on Saturday, 26 March.

The incident occurred about 1.15am when the four occupants of the property were asleep.

The front window of the house was smashed, and the vehicle left the scene.

Police attended another firearm incident outside a property on Lalor Crescent in the early hours of Monday, 28 March.

It is believed unknown offenders discharged what appeared to be a shotgun at the side wall of the house about 2.20am.

There were no injuries during either incident.

The Fawkner Embona Taskforce are continuing to investigate.
