Police appeal for missing boy at Canowindra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from the state's Central Tablelands.

Nash William Powell, aged 14, lives in the Canowindra area and left his home about 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday 22 March 2020), to go to the local skate park.

When he failed to return home, officers from Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Nash's welfare due to his age.

Nash is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, of a slim build, and with short black hair.

It is believed he was wearing a blue singlet, white board shorts with a grey palm tree design, and thongs.
