Police appeal for public help: Serious crash involving pedestrian, Woolloongabba

Crash investigators are seeking witnesses to a serious crash at Woolloongabba overnight where a pedestrian suffered critical injuries.

Around 1.30am, a grey Mazda 3 was travelling southbound along Ipswich Road when early investigations suggest a woman walked onto the road and was struck by the car.

The 29-year-old woman was transported to hospital where she remains suffering from critical head injuries.

A 67-year-old man, who was driving the car, was not physically injured.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, particularly two cars seen travelling behind the Mazda 3, to come forward and speak with investigators.
