Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following the theft of a car from outside an Epping hotel last week, Victoria Police say.
The theft occurred when the owner left his car running outside the High Street hotel on Friday 15 June just before 5pm.
When the victim returned several minutes later, after picking up his elderly parents from inside the venue, someone had driven off in his white 2005 Toyota Hilux utility registered 1BT 1GY.
Police have released an image of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The vehicle has not been recovered and investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
