Police are appealing for witnesses after an injured cyclist was located by passers-by in Watsonia tonight (4 September), Victoria Police say.
Police have been told a 22-year-old man was found lying with his bicycle on Grimshaw Street at the intersection of Peters Street just before 7.30pm.
It is unknown how the man sustained his injuries which are believed to be life threatening.
The man has been taken to hospital where he remains.
It is believed a number of people may have been in the area at the time and may have information regarding what happened.
