Police appeal for witnesses to motorcycle crash - Villawood

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a motorcycle and car collided in Villawood yesterday.

About 7.30pm (Monday 12 April 2021), a motorcyclist was heading west on Villawood Road, near the intersection of Woodville Road, when it collided with a vehicle heading east.

The 22-year-old rider suffered a fractured leg and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

The 38-year-old driver of the vehicle stopped and rendered assistance to the motorcyclist, and assisted police with their inquiries on scene.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command are now investigating the collision and are calling for anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them at Bankstown Police Station.
