Police appeal to find missing man at Blue Mountains 11 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Sydney's west since last week.

Jeffrey Rakete, aged 44, was last seen on Gipps Street, Drummoyne, about 4pm on Thursday 7 October 2021.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts when he was reported missing after not returning to work in Blaxland.

Police and family hold concerns for Mr Rakete's welfare.

Mr Rakete is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 168cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes and brown short hair.

Police were told he was travelling in a Mitsubishi Flatbed Truck, with NSW registration plates CE 37 XK, which was located in Mt Druitt today.

Police have also received information to suggest Mr Rateke may have visited the Auburn and Mount Druitt areas.
