Police appeal to find missing man – Mid North Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing on the state’s Mid North Coast.

Maurice Murray, aged 55, was last seen at his home on Hannam Vale Road, Lorne, near Kew, about 4.30am on Thursday 3 September 2020.

After he did not return home, police were notified.

About 12.30pm yesterday (Saturday 5 September 2020), officers from the Mid North Coast Police district searched the Queen Lake Nature Reserve with the assistance of the Dog Unit after the man’s Ford Falcon sedan was found in the area.

Maurice was not located and the search for him will continue in the area today (Sunday 6 September 2020).

Family and police hold concerns for Maurice’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 168cm tall, of a thin build, with grey hair and hazel eyes.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police.
