Police appeal to find teen missing from Canley Vale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Canley Vale.

Layla Jenson, aged 15, was last seen leaving her school on Prospect Road, Canley Vale, about 3pm yesterday (Thursday 5 May 2022)

When she failed to return to her home in Cabramatta, officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and have commenced a search of the area.

Police and family have concerns for Layla's welfare due to her age.

Layla is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm to 160cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform consisting of a dark blue tartan skirt and light blue top.

Anyone who sees Layla or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
