Police appeal to identify man for obscene exposure at Gosford

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man wanted for an alleged obscene exposure on a train line from Tuggerah to Central.

On the evening of Sunday 20 March 2022, a 74-year-old woman was approached by a man who boarded a train at Gosford Train Station.

It has been alleged the man approached the woman and sat next to her on the aisle seat, and began touching himself, before exposing himself to the woman.

The incident was reported to officers attached to the Police Transport Command, Central, who commenced an investigation into the matter.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his 40's, and of medium build.

He was wearing, a grey coloured t-shirt, white/blue striped shorts, a 'Gucci' brand hat, and carrying a black backpack.

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
