Police appeal to locate boy missing from Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing boy from Sydney's west.

Lucas Thompson, aged 11, was last seen leaving a hotel in Prospect about 8.30pm on Saturday 10 September 2022.

He was reported missing to Blacktown Police Area Command who have since commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for Lucas' welfare due to his age.

Lucas is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of large build, about 125cm tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white 'Champion' hooded jumper, black 'adidas' shorts, black hat, and black shoes, and was riding a scooter.

Police believe he may be frequenting the areas of Prospect, Kings Park and Marayong.

Anyone with information about Lucas' whereabouts is urged to contact Blacktown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
