Police appeal to locate child missing from Auburn

Police are appealing for community assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's south west.

Amin Allam, aged 12, was last seen about 5pm today (Sunday 25 July 2021), at a home on Carnegie Street near Elm Road, Auburn.

He was reported missing to officers from Auburn Police Area Command, who have commenced an investigation into his whereabouts and are currently searching the local area and surrounds.

Police and family hold concerns for Amin's welfare due to his age and special care requirements as he is on the autism spectrum.

Amin is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 100cm tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket and a grey fluffy beanie with tassels.

Police have been told he may also be pushing a blue bike and carrying a white bird cage with him, after his bird flew away days ago.
