Police appeal to locate girl reported missing in Balmain

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a missing girl from Balmain

Sofia Bell, 14, was last seen on Parramatta Road at a cinema complex in Auburn about 2.30pm yesterday (Saturday 1 April 2023).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Inquiries have established that she may have been in the Circular Quay area about 10.38pm yesterday (Saturday 1 April 2023) and at a fast-food restaurant on Hassall St, Rosehill, overnight.

Police and family members hold serious concerns for Sofia’s welfare due to her age.

Sofia is described as Mediterranean appearance, 150cm tall, of slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved crop top, black trackpants and white and black Nike Jordans.

Sofia is known to frequent the Balmain, Glebe, Auburn and Sydney City areas.

Anyone with information about Sofia’s whereabouts is urged to call Leichhardt Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
