Police appeal to locate man missing from Blacktown 9 June

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Ded Lulay, aged 79, was last seen at a shopping centre along Balmoral Street, Blacktown, about 11.50am today (Friday 9 June 2023).

When Ded was unable to be located, he was reported missing to officers from Blacktown Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to him living with dementia.

Ded is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 177cm tall, medium build, tanned complexion, light brown hair, brown eyes and is not fluent in English.

When last seen he was wearing a black cap with red logo on front, black puffer jacket, navy blue pants with white stripes and light brown shoes.

He is known to frequent the Blacktown area.
