Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Balmain.
Peter Urquhart, aged 45, was last seen leaving a home on Mort Street, Balmain, on Monday (5 January 2026); however, initial inquiries indicate he may have been in the Bellingen area yesterday (Thursday 8 January 2026).
When he failed to return home and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for Peter's welfare as he requires regular medication.
Peter is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, about 180cm tall, with short brown hair and a moustache.
He also has tattoos on both his arms.
Peter is known to frequent the Balmain and Rosebank area; however, it believed to be travelling in the Bellingen area and may be using public transport.
