Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south.
Mark McGovern, aged 60, was last seen on Kareena Road, Sutherland, about 8:30pm last Wednesday (28 January 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Mark's welfare as he lives with a medical condition.
Mark is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build with brown, short curly hair, hazel eyes, a small scar on his forehead and missing teeth.
He was last seen wearing a light grey shirt, dark shorts and bare feet.
Mark is known to frequent the South Coast, Cronulla, Woolooware, Tweed Heads, Coolangatta and Shoalhaven areas.
