Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.
Niraj Shrestha, aged 26, was last seen on Everton Road, Strathfield, about 1pm on Thursday (20 August 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Niraj's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Niraj is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair.
He was last seem wearing a black shirt, long pants and carrying a black backpack.
He is known to frequent the Strathfield, Burwood and Emu Plains area.
