Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's south

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's south earlier this week.

Allan Dean, aged 81, was last seen at a home on Naranga Avenue, Engadine, about 1pm on Wednesday (10 February 2021).

He was reported missing to officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command.

Despite extensive inquiries, police have been unable to locate Allan and are now appealing for public assistance.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Allan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall with grey hair and a long grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve checked shirt, grey shorts, dark shoes, a bum bag and glasses.
