Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's west 14 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Bernard John Farthing, aged 66, was last seen at a home on Rhodes Avenue, Guildford, on Monday 10 January 2022.

He was reported missing to officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command later that day after he failed to return.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition requiring treatment.

Bernard is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm – 180cm tall, of medium build, with curly medium - length grey hair and a grey moustache and beard.

He was last seen wearing long grey pants, a green cardigan and runners.

He is known to frequent the Sydney CBD and the Central station area, particularly the country terminals.
