Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the State's south.
Francois Piat, aged 55, was last seen leaving his home on Flanagans Lane, Deniliquin, about 1pm yesterday (Thursday 30 June 2022).
When Francois failed to return home that afternoon, family members contacted police and officers attached to Murray River Police District commencing inquiries to locate him.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Francois' welfare.
Francois is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall, of medium build, with blue eyes, grey/white hair, and a beard and moustache.
He was last seen wearing a khaki puffer jacket, beanie, dark blue jeans, and work-style boots.
Francois may be driving a white 3.5-tonne truck – possibly a Ford Courier – with Queensland registration plates '784IMQ' and may be travelling towards Tasmania.
Police are urging anyone with information on Francois' whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen him, to contact police immediately.
