Police appeal to locate man missing from Thurgoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's south.

Gary Jordon, aged 60, was last seen at a care facility on Ava Avenue, Thurgoona, about 10.30am yesterday (Sunday 4 September 2022).

After failing to return, officers attached to Murray River Police District commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to Gary living with an illness which requires medication.

Gary is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 182cm tall, of medium build, with grey hair and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue jumper with a black shirt underneath, black tracksuit pants and sunglasses.
