Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's south-west 6 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Sydney's south-west.

Mr Mahmoud Taleb, aged 67, was last seen at home on Guildford Road, Guildford, about 4.15pm yesterday (Thursday 5 January 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with several medical conditions.

Mr Taleb is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 170cm-175cm tall with medium build, short grey hair and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, grey pants and black slippers.

He is known to travel by foot and frequents Guildford, Merrylands West, Yennora and Cabramatta.
