Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's south west 9 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Bankstown area.

Jacob Faleta, aged 18, was last seen at Bankstown Hospital about 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday 8 January 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with medical conditions which require treatment.

Jacob is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue Nike hoodie which he typically wears with the hood up, grey tracksuit pants and black Nike shoes.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
