Police appeal to locate man missing from Canley Heights

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's south west.

Nghia Nguyen, aged 56, was last seen at his home on Queen Street, Canley Heights, about 5pm on Monday 3 January 2022.

He was reported missing to officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command on Wednesday 5 January 2022, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family are concerns are held for Nghia's welfare because of his age.

Nghia is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with white hair.

He walks with a limp and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, cargo shorts, sandals and was carrying a bum bag.

Nghia uses public transport and is known to frequent the Fairfield area.
