Police appeal to locate man missing from Jindabyne

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Jindabyne.

Koby Mitchell, aged 19, was last seen leaving a hotel in Jindabyne, about 1am on Thursday 16 July 2020 and has not been seen since.

When he failed to contact relatives, officers from Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

The man's car has been located locked and secured at a campground on the Alpine Way.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare as he is usually in regular contact with relatives.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 183cm tall, with slim build, shaggy blonde/brown hair and a short brown beard.

Koby was last seen wearing black snow overalls, a white jumper and no shoes.

Anyone who has seen Koby or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
