Police appeal to locate missing boy from Sydney's south

Police are appealing to locate a boy missing from a park at Oatley in Sydney's south this afternoon.

Matthew Leftakis, aged 12, was last seen at Oatley Park at Oatley about 5.10pm (Friday 16 December 2022).

Unable to be located or contacted since, he was reported missing to officers attached to St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Matthew's welfare as he lives with numerous medical conditions.

Matthew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150cm tall, solid build, olive complexion, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a navy blue school polo shirt and blue shorts. He was riding a grey scooter.
