Police appeal to locate missing child - Lidcombe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a child missing from South West Sydney.

Yousif Elsair, aged 12, was last seen at Lidcombe about 2.30pm yesterday (Saturday 14 October 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

Yousif is described as being of African appearance, 165cm, medium build, brown eyes and short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing glasses, a white coloured t-shirt, black trackpants with white coloured stripes and orange sneakers. Yousif may also be in possession of a grey backpack.

Anyone who has seen Yousif or has information of his whereabouts is urged to call Auburn Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
