Police appeal to locate missing elderly man - Rhodes

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Baoquan Tang, aged 94, was last seen at his home on Cavell Avenue, Rhodes, about 2.30pm today (Wednesday 19 October 2022).

When he failed to return home, family members contacted officers from Burwood Police Area Command who commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Baoquan is described as being of Asian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with short white hair. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and light brown shoes.

Baoquan wears spectacles – with clip on sunglasses attached to them – and is believed to be using a walking stick.

He is known to frequent the Rhodes and Eastwood areas.
