A celebration of creativity, culture and community connection will return to the region later this month, with the Mildura Fringe Festival set to deliver more than two weeks of entertainment, performances and family-friendly experiences.

Running from 29 October to 15 November 2026 at Listo Trapeze in Irymple, the annual event is supported through Mildura Rural City Council's Events Funding and Support Grant Program and is expected to generate an economic impact of more than $173,000 for the region.

The festival will showcase a diverse program featuring circus, comedy, theatre, magic, live music, visual arts, workshops and family entertainment, bringing together local, regional and visiting performers.

In addition to ticketed performances, festival-goers can enjoy a range of free community activities, including outdoor live music from local artists, an art gallery showcasing regional creatives, children's workshops, food trucks and hospitality offerings.

Mildura Councillor for Economic Development Rebecca Crossling said the festival had become a valued fixture on the region's events calendar.

"The Mildura Fringe Festival is a fantastic celebration of creativity and community that showcases the incredible talent we have in our region while also attracting artists and audiences from further afield," Cr Crossling said.

"Events like this play an important role in strengthening our local economy, supporting businesses and encouraging visitors to explore everything our region has to offer.

"The festival offers something for everyone, from families looking for affordable entertainment through to people wanting to experience unique performances and creative works."

Cr Crossling said Council was proud to support events that contributed to the region's cultural vibrancy and visitor economy.

"The Mildura Fringe Festival helps position our region as a destination for arts, culture and entertainment while creating opportunities for local artists and performers to connect with audiences," she said.
