Police appeal to locate missing elderly man in Sydney's southwest

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's southwest.

David Hayes, aged 75, was last seen at a residence on Twelfth Avenue, Rossmore, about 7am today (Tuesday 6 September 2022).

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and that he lives with a heart condition.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with short white hair, and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper, blue jeans and white shoes.

He is believed to be in the Rossmore area, if local residents would be kind enough to inspect their properties.

Anyone who may have seen David or who may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact Liverpool Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
