Police appeal to locate missing elderly woman - Annandale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's Inner West

Anastasia Poulos - aged 87 - was last seen at an aged care facility on Johnston Street, Annandale, about 12pm today (Saturday 1 January 2021).

When Anastasia failed to return to the facility, officers attached to Leichardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries not her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for Anastasia's welfare due to her age, and an existing health condition.

Anastasia is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue skirt, and a scarf on her head, as depicted.

Anastasia is known to frequent the Newtown and Sans Souci areas.

Anyone who sees Anastasia or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
