Police appeal to locate missing girl on Mid-North Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing on the state's Mid-North Coast.

Ciara Kennett, aged 14, was last seen at a home on Lewis Street, Old Bar, about 20km east of Taree, about 12pm Sunday (11 September 2022).

When she did not return home, officers from the Manning-Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police hold concerns for Ciara due to her age.

Ciara is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of slim build and has long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue 'Friends' jumper and was carrying a black shopping bag.

Anyone who may have seen Ciara or who may know of her whereabouts is urged to contact Taree Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
