Police appeal to locate missing man at Auburn

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Taualagi 'Tau' Leilua, aged 36, was last seen in Granville about 1.45pm today (Sunday 16 May 2021), travelling in a grey 2007 Jeep Commander with NSW registration DDA-14C.

He was reported missing to officers from Auburn Police Area Command this afternoon due to out of character behaviour.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare and an investigation is underway to locate him.

Taualagi is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm-185cm tall, of large build with short hair.

He was last seen wearing black track suit pants, a yellow puma t-shirt and a grey jumper with 'cheat day' printed on the front.

It is believed he may be in Auburn or the surrounding areas.

Anyone who may have seen Tau or has information are urged to contact Auburn Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
