Police appeal to locate missing man at Blaxland

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from the Blue Mountains area.

Matthew Miller, aged 48, of Blaxland, failed to turn up for work on Tuesday 19 April 2022 and was last spoken to by a friend on Thursday 14 April 2022.

Officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were alerted and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Concerns are held for Matthew's welfare due to his disappearance being out of character.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm-190cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and blue eyes.

He is known to frequent campsites at Bathurst, Oberon, Goulburn and Hartley areas.

He may be driving a silver 2006 Holden Commodore station wagon with NSW registration BF 88 HM.

As inquiries continue into Matthew's whereabouts, police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
