Police appeal to locate missing man at Kurrajong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north west.

Karl Matthews, aged 38, left his home on Blaxlands Ridge Road, Kurrajong, just after 10pm on Friday 24 July 2020.

When he failed to return home, officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command were notified and despite a search of the area, he could not be located.

Police and family have concerns for Karl's welfare as it is out of character.

His vehicle, a white Toyota Prado NSW registration plates BVH 28M has since been located nearby on Contour Way, North Richmond. Anyone who has seen this vehicle prior to Tuesday 28 July 2020 are urged to come forward.

Karl is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm to 170cm tall, of medium build, and brown short hair and a tattoo on his lower right arm with the word "Ryder".
