Police appeal to locate missing man at Narrabri

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north west.

Dean Grey, aged 25, was last seen on a rural property 7km outside of Narrabri on Old Gunnedah Road, about 7am this morning (Saturday 16 October 2021).

After failing to meet friends as planned, Dean was reported missing at 11am and officers attached to Oxley Police District commenced inquiries to locate him.

With assistance from PolAir and the NSW State Emergency Service, police conducted a coordinated land, air and water search in surrounding areas today.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Dean is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of muscular build, with balding (blonde) hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing green shirt with brown jacket with blue jeans.

Dean is known is to frequent the areas of Narrabri.
