Police appeal to locate missing man from Inner West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Strathfield area.

Young Soo Song, aged 79, was last seen on Pitt Street, Sydney CBD, about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 16 June 2022).

When he did not return to his Strathfield home, Young was reported missing to officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Young as he lives with dementia and requires medication.

Young is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 170cm tall, slim build, and with short black hair. He was last seen wearing spectacles, a black cowboy hat, black jumper, grey hoodie, brown pants, black shoes, and carrying dark brown shoulder bag.

Young is known to utilise public transport and frequent the Circular Quay and Manly areas.
