Police appeal to locate missing man - Inner West 11 April

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Inner West.

John Pye, aged 66, was last seen at an aged care facility on Charlotte Street, Ashfield, about 12.10pm today (Monday 11 April 2022).

Unable to be located since, John was reported missing to officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command, who immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for John's welfare as he lives with diabetes and dementia and requires medication.

John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build, approximately 182cm tall, with medium length brown hair and facial stubble. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt with a horizontal white strip, black pants and black shoes.

John is known to frequent the Ashfield, Summer Hill and Katoomba areas.
