Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man - Leichhardt PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the inner western Sydney area.

Michael Hickling, aged 41, was last seen on Glebe Point Road, Glebe, about 7.30pm on Monday (18 May 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare.

Michael is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair and missing the pinky finger on his left hand.

He was last seen wearing dark blue tracksuit pants, possibly a black t-shirt with white writing on the front possibly barefoot or wearing sandals.

Inquiries suggest that Michael may have been on Church Street in Gloucester around 12pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 May 2026).

He is known to utilise public transport and frequents the Blacktown, Lethbridge Park, Central Coast and Gloucester areas.
