Police appeal to locate missing teen - Mount Druitt

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's west.

Tafale Mekuli, aged 16, was last seen leaving her Mount Druitt residence about 3.05pm on Saturday 20 August 2022.

When she failed to return home, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Tafale is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 160cm tall, with long black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black singlet, black trousers and a beige coloured jacket.

Tafale is known to frequent the Mount Druitt, Blacktown and Liverpool areas.

Anyone with information into Tafale's whereabouts is urged to contact Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
