Police appeal to locate missing teenage boy - Rosehill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Rosehill.

Lachlan Hunter – aged 15 – was last seen at a home at Penelope Lucas Lane, Rosehill, about 4pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 August 2021).

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance when he failed to return and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Initial inquiries suggest Lachlan attended Parramatta Westfield about 5.30pm, before travelling to a supermarket at Oak Street, Rosehill, about 9.15pm.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Lachlan as his disappearance is out of character.

Lachlan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, with light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing black and red shorts, red Nike Air Force shoes and a black top. He was riding a grey and green mountain bike.

Lachlan is known to frequent the Parramatta and the Cumberland areas.

Anyone with information about Lachlan's whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
