Police appeal to locate missing teenager at Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for information to locate a teenage boy missing from the Blue Mountains.

Jeremy Porter – aged 13 – was last seen at a supermarket at Katoomba about 3.30pm yesterday (Saturday 11 September 2021).

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified later that evening when Jeremy failed to return to his address as planned and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police have concerns for Jeremy due to his young age.

Jeremy is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, navy pants, black shoes and a navy cap.

Jeremy is known to frequent the Katoomba and Blackheath areas.

Anyone who sees Jeremy is urged to contact police immediately.
