Police appeal to locate missing woman from Blue Mountains area

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from the Blue Mountains.

Dianne Newman, aged 50, was last seen at Nepean Hospital about 9pm yesterday (Sunday 27 March 2022).

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced investigations into her whereabouts.

These inquiries have established that she boarded a train and disembarked at Blaxland Railway Station.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Dianne's welfare.

Dianne is described as Caucasian appearance, 160-165cm tall, medium build with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved pink/purple coloured shirt, blue jeans with white marks/tears on the knees and dark coloured shoes.

Anyone with information on Dianne's whereabouts is urged to contact Blue Mountains Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
