Police appeal to locate missing woman with dementia at Penshurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman with dementia in south Sydney.

Jingying He, aged 69, was last seen at Penshurst Railway Station about 1.10pm today (Wednesday 9 November 2022).

When she could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

She is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall with slim build and grey hair.

Last seen wearing a white jumper with a flower on the front, beige pants, beads around her neck, and a tan coloured shoulder bag. She is possibly wearing red socks and black sandals.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Jingying speaks Mandarin and does not understand English.
