Police appeal to locate teen missing from Brookvale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's northern beaches.

Alexander 'Xander' Roperti, aged 16, was last at his Brookvale home about 8.30pm on Sunday (1 May 2022).

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified after he failed to attend school yesterday (Monday 2 May 2022) and could not be located.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Xander is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of athletic build, with short brown hair and glasses. It is not known what he was wearing at the time.

He attends school in Narrabeen and is known to frequent sports fields at Daceyville, in Sydney's east.
